Rod has worked on Boscombe Market since 2015, and has many years of business experience including working for large national companies and also for himself. Part of his role on the market is to nurture new traders, and over the years he has passed on valuable advice which has helped them become an established part of Boscombe Market. Several of them have now gone on to take on their own premises, employ staff and run very successful businesses.
Adrian has worked on Boscombe Market since 2012, and has extensive knowledge of Health and Safety and Risk Management. He ably assists Rod ensuring the market is a safe environment for both traders and shoppers. With a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors, including a spell when he was self employed, Adrian has a well rounded understanding of the issues facing market traders and is able to offer help and support when trading on Boscombe Market.
Carol’s role is to enhance Boscombe Market, working with traders and businesses to make the Thursday and Saturday market smarter, tidier, more attractive and to increase the variety of stalls, and is looking to start a new Sunday market during the coming summer. Additionally she has been driving forward the precinct improvement works, encouraging new business to the area and to build on Boscombe’s creative buzz.
